Before Kryton exloded and Jor-El ut his baby son, Kal-El, in a rocket shi to Earth, the benevolent ruler was forced to banish three irredeemable criminals to another dimension called The Phantom Zone. The trio#39;s leader, General Zod, vowed revenge. Later, of course, Kal-El grew u to become Suerman, Earth#39;s mighty chamion. A battle with the criminal mastermind, Lex Luthor, ends with Suerman hurling a nuclear warhead into sace where it exlodes, but not harmlessly. Instead, it frees the Krytonian threesome from their other-dimensional rison. They soon discover they have almost unlimited ower (the same owers, in fact, as Suerman), which they use to take over the Earth. Meanwhile, the intreid reorter, Lois Lane, learns that her bumbling colleague, Clark Kent, is really Suerman, a revelation that leads to him inging her to his frozen Fortress of Solitude and renouncing his owers in order to make love to her. It is only when Suerman and Lois return to civilization that they learn of the three Krytonians and how Lex Luthor has joined forces with them. Now, Suerman must reverse the irreversible and regain his owers in order to save mankind.
