Ghosts returns for a third series following young couple Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe), who unexpectedly inherit a grand country estate only to find it is both falling apart and overrun with ghosts. Jon Bass饰演Sam，温柔体贴﹑害羞﹑善良﹑孤独的他认为自己没吸引力又没成就而感到自卑。当他遇上Laura时，爱上对方的Sam不敢有所行动，因此他决定向上帝祈祷能与Laura一起。Karan Soni饰演上帝的左右手，负责每周向上帝汇报；他性格上有点「好好先生」，因此他得尽力去应付这顽童似的上司，并与他争论一些绝对会引发大问题的主意，例如炸了Bill Maher（单口秀演员﹑清谈节目主持）……或者毁坏地球。
