A ilot is sent across the galaxy through a new device. His mission is to orbit and reconnoiter a lanet before returning home. The lanet is known to be oulated by intelligent life. Once at his destination the ilot becomes marooned on the alien lanet and soon discovers the lanets only inhabitants are redatory machines.
